VertrigoServ is a lightweight, all-in-one WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) server stack designed to easily turn a Windows PC into a local development environment. It installs Apache, PHP, MySQL, SQLite, and phpMyAdmin in a single package, allowing you to configure almost all core settings directly through a Windows system tray icon. Step 1: Downloading VertrigoServ

Source: Visit the VertrigoServ WAMP SourceForge Repository to download the official installer safely.

Architecture: Choose either the x64 version for modern 64-bit systems or the x86 version depending on your OS structure.

File format: The download will be an executable installer, typically named like Vertrigo_xxx_x64.exe. Step 2: Running the Installation Wizard

Launch installer: Double-click the downloaded executable file to initiate the setup wizard.

Accept License: Read through the GPL/Apache licensing agreements and click I Agree.

Select Components: Ensure all default packages (Apache, PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin, SQLite) are checked for installation.

Choose Destination: Keep the default installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\VertrigoServ) or specify a new directory path.

Finalize Setup: Click Install, wait for the progress bar to complete, and select Finish to close the setup wizard. Step 3: Launching the Server Initial Run: Open VertrigoServ from your desktop shortcut.

Start Server: Click the central button labeled Hide this window and start server.

System Tray Access: Look for the VertrigoServ icon inside the bottom-right Windows system tray. A green indicator confirms that all services are operational. Step 4: Accessing and Configuring Default Tools

Right-clicking the system tray icon exposes a menu containing fast access shortcuts to system configurations, data paths, and logs: Interface / Component Default URL / Directory Default Credentials Localhost Home
