A vape device, or electronic cigarette, is a battery-powered device that heats a liquid solution to create an aerosol which the user inhales. Often referred to as “vaping,” this process simulates tobacco smoking but creates an aerosol of tiny droplets rather than burning tobacco leaf smoke. How Vape Devices Work

Despite differences in size, shape, and design, almost all vaping devices rely on the exact same mechanical process to function:

The Power Source: A lithium-ion battery provides the electrical current required to operate the internal components.

The Chamber: A dedicated tank, cartridge, or pod acts as a reservoir to store the liquid solution.

The Atomizer: An internal heating element containing a wire coil wrapped around a moisture-absorbing wick.

The Activation: The user pulls air through the mouthpiece, or presses a button, which triggers the battery to instantly heat the internal coil.

The Aerosolization: The heated coil vaporizes the liquid soaking the wick, turning it into a dense aerosol spray that flows out through the mouthpiece. Main Types of Vapes
